Motor Madness 2006 Success
(North Bay - Mar, 2006) Approximately 150 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts started their engines and motored their way to fun and prizes this weekend at Motor Madness 2006 held at Northgate Square.
Youth, leaders and parents took over the east end of the mall Saturday and Sunday, drowning out shoppers with robust cheers and the sound of motoring Beaver Buggies, Kub Kars and Scout Trucks.
Groups from Iroquois Falls, Valley East and Timmins joined Nipissing Area groups.
Cogeco taped highlights from all three components and plans to air a 30-minute show on the event. Baytoday.ca, The Nugget and MCTV also attended.
A big thank you to all the Scouters who contributed their time and effort toward making the event a success. And a special thank you to the non-Scouters who helped out. (Additional
